What does Bewilligungsbescheid mean?
With a Bewilligungsbescheid (approval notice), an office says yes to your application and states what you get.

It usually states the amount, the period and how the office calculated it. The calculation is often in an Anlage (enclosure).
Check the details carefully: names, people, income, rent. A mistake can mean you get too little or have to pay money back later.
If something is wrong, you can file a Widerspruch, even against an approval. The deadline is in the Rechtsbehelfsbelehrung.
The approval usually applies only for a certain period. After that, you often have to apply again.
