What does Einspruchsentscheidung mean?
In the Einspruchsentscheidung (decision on the objection), the Finanzamt or the Familienkasse tells you how your Einspruch was decided.

It comes when the authority does not follow your Einspruch, or not fully. If it agrees with you completely, you usually get an amended notice.
If you disagree, you can sue at the Finanzgericht. The deadline is in the Rechtsbehelfsbelehrung.
Sometimes the Finanzamt announces beforehand that it intends to reject the Einspruch. You can then still withdraw it.
