What does Lastschrift mean?
With a Lastschrift (direct debit), a company or office takes the money from your account itself. You allowed this beforehand.

For this, you give a SEPA direct debit mandate (SEPA-Lastschriftmandat), a written permission. You can withdraw it at any time.
You can usually have a direct debit returned by your bank if you act quickly. But the debt remains.
If there is not enough money in the account, the direct debit bounces. Fees are then often added.
