What does Sozialgericht mean?
The Sozialgericht (social court) decides disputes with the Jobcenter, the Krankenkasse, the Rentenversicherung and other social benefit bodies.

You usually only sue there after your Widerspruch has been rejected. This is then stated in the Widerspruchsbescheid.
Insured people and people who receive or claim benefits usually pay no court fees there. You do not need a lawyer, but you may have one.
You can file the Klage (lawsuit) in writing or have it written down at the court.
In urgent cases, you can make an urgent application (Eilantrag), for example if you lack money to live on.
