What does Aufrechnung mean?
Aufrechnung (offsetting) means an office keeps part of your benefit to get back money that you owe it.

You then get less paid out each month. The rest goes towards the debt until it is paid.
There is a limit to how much the office may keep. The office states the amount and the start in a Bescheid.
