What does Fiktionsbescheinigung mean?
A Fiktionsbescheinigung is a document from the Ausländerbehörde. It shows your rights while your application is being decided.

You usually get it if you have applied for an Aufenthaltstitel and the office has not decided yet.
A box on it is ticked to show which rule applies. Often your old permit stays valid, including for work.
