What does Lohnabrechnung mean?
The Lohnabrechnung (payslip) shows how much you earned in the month and what was deducted from it.

It shows the gross pay, the taxes and the social insurance contributions. At the bottom is what was paid out, the net pay.
Your employer must give you a payslip, usually every month and often digitally.
Offices often ask for it as proof, for example the Jobcenter, the Familienkasse or the Wohngeldstelle.
