What does Jahresabrechnung mean?
The Jahresabrechnung (annual statement) shows how much electricity, gas or water you used in a year and what it costs.

The provider compares your use with the advance payments (Abschläge) you made.
If it shows a credit (Guthaben), you get money back. If it shows an extra payment (Nachzahlung), you must pay the amount.
